Last Fair Deal — Bringing you the full Dead experience!

Last Fair Deal is a seven-piece Grateful Dead tribute band based in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, dedicated to recreating the spirit, energy, and musical adventure of a live Dead show.

Performing two full sets of Grateful Dead music each night, the band draws from the entire catalog of songs performed by the Dead from 1965 through 1995 — from beloved classics to deep cuts and unexpected gems. While the Grateful Dead evolved through many lineups over three decades, Last Fair Deal most closely channels the expansive sound and feel of the band’s 1970s through early-1980s era.

Each member fills the musical role of their Grateful Dead counterpart, creating the layered textures, lush harmonies, and exploratory jams that defined the Dead’s live performances. True to the tradition, every show features a unique setlist and plenty of room for improvisation.

A favorite of the Hampton Roads music scene, Last Fair Deal regularly performs for audiences ranging from several hundred to over two thousand fans. With a growing following throughout the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast, the band continues to bring the timeless music and communal spirit of the Grateful Dead to stages near and far.
